Belt guard removal

WARNING

:Engine should

Tilt the hood.

NOTE : The console may

out both retaining pins.

Lift and remove the belt guard.

Drive

belt

removal and

installation

A WARNING : Never start or

run

T engine without the drive belt in-

stalled. Running

unloaded engine

dangerous.

Tilt hood and remove the belt guard.

Open the driven pulley

twisting

and pushing the sliding half. Hold

fully open position.

NOTE :

Put

the parking brake

to facilitate the opening of driven

pulley.

Slip slackened belt over the top edge

the driven pulley sliding half, op-

posite side

gearbox.

Completely remove the belt from the

driven pulley and lie flat under the

driven pulley outside

edge.
